YouTube has undoubtedly revolutionized the way the world watches video. The brainchild of three former PayPal employees, YouTube was the first platform on the web devoted exclusively to video sharing and is by far, the most popular. Registered users can upload videos of just about anything – from makeup tutorials, renditions of their favorite pop songs and originally produced web-only series. Ranked as the third most visited website (just behind Google and Facebook), millions of people visit the site each day.
